Preferably some from different angles of the same haircut... I just need good pictures from different angles of some cool hair to pick from for my first haircut in 3 years.

scene isn't really about the style, it's more about the colour and teasing. Most scene kids hair would look pretty normal if they didn't tease it or dye it. I would suggest you go for a normal short cut, and then add some funky colour.

You will need: thickening shampoo, a towel, a brush, strong hold spray (or gel for short hair), a bold, bright hair accessory or clip from somewhere like Hot Topic or LoveBites and Bruises.

1 - use thickening shampoo

2 - roughly towel dry or leave to dry naturally

3 - when dry, tip head upsidedown, brush hair from tip to root (backbrush) in areas you want to look poofty.

4 - before lifting your head back up, generously spray with holding spray or run gel through it, allow it to dry for a moment.

5 - lift head up, use styling gel or wax to work hair to suit your style/face shape.

6. add a cute acessory e.g. a clip, bow or head band from Hot Topic or LoveBites and Bruises.

Note - this is bad for your hair, as it makes it brittle, and therefore it breaks easily, so don't do it all the time. :)

try some bangs that can be swept to the side (not straight across)... add some chunky layers, too. and trim up the bottom to modernize it a little. i think you look like you want something much funkier than a long layered "jessica simpson/paris hilton haircut"... tell this to your stylist. go early to your hair appointment and find photos of hairstyles you like AND hairstyles you DON'T like... these will be equally helpful to you and the stylist. also, when you're looking at photos, its ok to pick out just certain aspects of the photo that you like... you don't have to like the whole photo... like you could tell the stylist: i want my bangs cut like this, but NOT the back like it is in this picture. i like the back done as it is in this other photos. the stylist can figure it out! good luck! i'd say go for something different but not TOO extreme to start out. you just need some texture... not the straight down parted in the middle thing.
